NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An EF-2 tornado touched down in Madison and Hendersonville on Saturday, a preliminary report from the National Weather Service confirms.
Three people were killed in Madison on Nesbitt Lane on Saturday night. Three more individuals were killed in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The tornado had 130 mph winds with a width of 400 yards.
The length of the tornado is still being determined, NWS adds.
NWS will survey Gallatin on Monday to see if a tornado was prevalent in the area as well.
